Cinnamon Rolls Recipe



  • 50g Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 345g all-purpose flour 
  • 1 Packet Instant Yeast
  • 120ml Milk
  • 60ml Water
  • Egg
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter

Cinnamon Filling

  • 1 Tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1/4 cup Sugar


  • 1 cup Icing Sugar
  • 2–3 Tablespoons Espresso
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract



  1. Mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast together and leave to rest.
  2. In a separate microwave-safe bowl, mix the milk, water, and butter together.
  3. Microwave the mixture until the butter is melted and the mixture is warm.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients.
  5. Add 1 egg and mix until a soft dough consistency forms.
  6. Knead the dough for 3 minutes.
  7. Leave the dough to rest for 10 mins


  1.  Roll the dough out.
  2. Spread the butter on top.
  3. Combine the cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle across the dough.
  4. Roll up the dough and cut into 10-12 even rolls and arrange in a lightly greased cake pan.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm area for an hour or two.


  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  2. Bake for 25-30 minutes.


  1. Mix the icing sugar, vanilla, and coffee.
  2. Drizzle over warm cinnamon rolls.
